Today I’ve been out getting some shelving units for my room. And Ive only built one so far. The way I had thought the layout of the room to be doesnt work, with the large bed. So I have to move some stuff around and figure out what I want instead. I’ve been thinking about making Youtube videos again, like just vlogs, gaming and food stuff. But I honestly do’t know what channel to do it on if I do it. Because I do have a gaming channel, I have a food channel, and I have my main channel, which I still call my main, but it isnt really. Since I havent been on it for a very long. Even when the channel is from 2011. As of right now I could make 4 videos without much work, but that would be food and drink videos. So shorter videos like a review. The reason why I cant figure out what channel it should be, is because I have the name Spody I use for almost everything, but people know it and I’m afraid of what people I know will say to it, if they watch it. I did once back like 15-16 years ago, if not more have a video uploaded that some people from my school watched, and then in the recommended it came up with a vlog thing I did. And I just have these panic attacks and anxiety feeling.The videos I have an idea of making them like 2010 style, with an older camera in a SD format, same with gaming stuff. Because I just like that genre of Youtube stuff. I grew up watching that. Even when my first Youtube account was created in 2006. So I’ve been on the platform for a long time. Before I do any videos I do kinda want to make sure that the room or the background of my webcam looks alright. I dont like having a mess and a bunch of stuff around. Its fine when its behind the camera. I could make a video and then a blog post about it, that would be both things at once. But I do have an idea of just making a bunch of videos like the channel MongoTV where he just does everything, like imaginary things, vlogs, and gaming videos. He also does a little of food stuff. I dont know. I’m just out here with a lot of ideas. My computer cant handle much right now. It was very loud, so I got a new one, but kept some parts. Now I just need to sell some of the older stuff.

Have been looking alot at getting a Raspberry Pi to run PiHole or something to get rid of the ads for pretty much all the devices on the network. Its very annoying having to look at ads on the TV when streaming from Youtube and such. But I would also like to run a website or something, so would I need 2 Raspberry Pi’s or could I run with just 1? When I’m making websites it’s all just running on my desktop which is taking up alot of RAM and CPU, because of the background tasks and them running 24/7, plus a Raspberry Pi doesnt use much power. I remember my dad and I getting a bunch of them a few years ago, but we simply can’t remember where the ones that didnt get used are now. We used 11 of them for our retro TV flow channels, which can be seen on my projects page. Actually no, it isnt there. The project page is for software/websites and the experiments page is for the physical projects I’ve been making. Which isnt on there right now, but I’ll get it added very soon. Currently only this page, the life.php page is a CMS, the rest of the page isnt. I think it would be a decent idea to make the rest of the site into some kind of CMS, but I’m not 100% sure about that, as it would take up alot of resources, but it would be easier for me to change something, or add something new. I just need to remember that if I do it, I need to put timestamps on it. So I can keep track of the time something is changed and such. Currently where I live the power is expensive, so I dont want to put up a bigger server, even when I have the space for a rack server and I got one laying around, a Precision R5500, which is basically a PowerEdge server from Dell. I would actually like to set up a page for family photos, I believe I have something I made on a Mac, like 16 years ago from an app called DreamWeaver or something similar. You would just input the images and it would create the page for you with the thumbnails and making them clickable. Back in 2012-2014 I did have a thing for a fandom where it would show images like that for whatever people had sent me. I do like the idea of an archive site, or something like that, but I just dont feel like the cost of having something like that would be worth it if nobody uses it. And Im afraid of telling people about the projects I do. People do have the domain for this page, but I’m 100% sure that nobody reads it. All the blogs and that I’ve made before have been erased with time, or I’ve just forgotten where they are. Since I do have a bunch of stuff on my NAS with websites and that, but due to some update with Windows 10 it doesnt work with SMB1.0 which is what my NAS uses, even if its enabled in the settings, and I have the feature installed in the control panel. I got too much stuff. I want to get rid of so many things. Like even just getting rid of my desktop, because with what I use it for daily, then I could just run on a Raspberry Pi, but every once in a while I get invited to play a game, like Warcraft 3 or Diablo 2. And then I need Windows. For Warcraft 3 then you need to run Battle.net from Blizzard, and that doesnt work very well on Linux, with all the stuff that I’ve tried I just couldnt get it to launch the program, or the game. So I had to install Windows a few months ago. Thats how it is. I have been looking into just getting a Dell Optiplex DT of some newer kind, since I’ve been saying for a few years now that I need to have a computer with a full size PCIe and full size PCI slot on the motherboard, for my capture cards when I did Youtube and digitalization of tapes. I needed a way to record both HDMI and older stuff. But its very hard to find a motherboard now that has that if you dont look at older hardware. I believe I found something that the latest CPU/motherboard that supports it, is like the first generation Ryzen CPUs and Intel 7000 series. I do have a Dell Optiplex 980, but its only a 1st generation i5. So not more powerful than what I’m currently using, but its smaller and makes less noise. I do think that computer would be a great Linux machine, but yeah. Do I want to switch over to that now when I’m pretty well set in Windows 10? I have also been looking at getting a KVM so I could switch between 2-3 computers with using the same keyboard, mouse and monitors, so I didnt have to get alot of keyboards and different monitors when testing out other computers and all that. Since I do have a XP machine, a 98 laptop, and my current “gaming” rig, even when its not doing much gaming. The case I even got for my “gaming” computer is very old. It has floppy, 7 optical drives, and space for about 12x 3.5″ harddrives. So its quite massive. About the same height as my table, so that says something with how big it is. Looks a little like the old Mac Pro tower, but it also have wheels on it, and that makes it easier to move out when I need to do something on the back of it. I got alot of Core2 machines, and that all work. Perhaps I should test my PowerEdge Tower server to see if it works, when I last had it on for many days, then it just shut off and I didnt want to power it on again so I just left it. It got a Xeon CPU and 32GB RAM. Which could be used by someone else if they needed a cheap server. I have just used it for Proxmox and a bunch of virtual machines. I got to list some of the machines I have for sale, I just need to test them. Like got a iMac G3 that was in storage home the other day. Looking back at my previous post from the 16th of May 2026, then I see that links or a href links doesnt work when typing in this editor, I think I’ll just leave it like that. Even when it would be nice to be able to link to other pages when I’m writing about them. Hopefully today I will get a lamp put up in my room, it does get dark at some hours. But over the last few weeks I just havent been using my computer that much and just been in the common room. And when I’ve been in my room on the computer its been daytime and bright outside. The shed is full, since we put a lot of boxes over there while we sort through them with what to keep and what to throw out. I got no shelves or anything in my room, so its just an bed, my desk with my computer and some monitors, and then boxes. The shelving I had in the apartment I dont want to put up in this house. I do have my landline phone connected tho. So some stuff is there. I sold my B\u0026O MX1500 TV when we moved in, so I dont have a CRT anymore, other than the iMac G3, but I would love to have one, even if I dont use the TV that much, I still want one. I feel more at home with the older hardware, like I can feel at ease with knowing when stuff is on, like with my desktop. I’m using a mechanical harddrive, which with that I can feel with slowness of the computer when its in use, and if some background program is trying to install or get data. With a CRT I know that it wont take any of my data, like the smart TV in the common room. I know that I’m paranoid, but thats just how I am at the moment, and I have been for quite a while. Like if I could live in a shed in a forest I would just do that to get away from everyone, but sadly that isnt possible.

I’ve been moving for the past few weeks, theres alot of stuff. Got my room set up with an bed and my desk with my computer, and thats about it. With all the stuff that I’m working on, I would like to get an upgrade for my computer. Since it takes a while to start up my computer, and I very often am at 100% utilization with CPU, RAM and HDD. Like an i7-3770, 16GB RAM and a 1TB HDD. So not too fast. But the most annoying thing about my computer is the noise it makes. Its very loud. Thats just the fans being loud. I would like to get an Dell Optiplex DT, or something. One with a DVD drive, and not one of the tiny small DVD slim drives, a normal big one. Not because I’m using it that often, more that I’m annoyed of the noise that the small ones make.One good thing about this house is that I have a 1000/1000Mbit connection, as Gigabit. So I can download and upload as fast as my harddrive lets me. Yesterday when I was eating my breakfast, I leaned back and the chair broke, so I fell off it and cut my hand on the part that broke, so it sliced up my hand. Which was not that painful when it happened, but now after it stings very much. Especially when I have soap touching it, or when laying my hand on some place. I think I’ll soon try to get this website up on the actual server. So it isnt just on my local machine as a diary or something. Even when my web host just decided to increase the price of my service. I both want and dont want to host stuff myself. Like ofcourse it would be nice, but then I dont want my IP, and there is also alot of maintenance with harddrives and such, plus if the internet or power goes out then it would still be up using a different host.

Nothing much has happened today. I’ve kinda just been up for a few hours. I’ve had a headache for the past few days, like one that hits in the back of your head. Might be stress over everything going on. Which doesnt seem to be much, but its just I have much on my calendar. And to be honest, it doesnt feel like much, but I get stressed over it. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow to get a bloodtest, and then I have a meeting with a psychologist on thursday, and that has pretty much just left me stressed. It doesnt need to be more than that. I get stressed very easily. The entire month of december I was stressed and couldnt do much because I had agreed to spend Christmas with my sister. So I felt sick the entire month. And I dont know how it will become better. Since nothing that Im trying helps. Im on alot of medication, but nothing seems to be working. I dont know what will become of me. I have a lot of ideas, but my health doesnt allow me to do it. That and money. Hopefully it will help soon when I move. But I dont know if it will. I need to get the website fixed so it isnt only on my local machine, and then I need to sell my server. Its just not being used enough for me to have it powered on, then I would rather have other people be able to use it. I got 2 servers, the HP Microserver, and a Dell rack. The microserver isnt worth much, but the rack could be worth something. It uses a little power, but thats just how it is with these older machines. I’m currently reading the news, and have been thinking about making content about my views online. But with all the channels I have online then I shouldnt make more. I think I have about 9 Youtube channels. All with different things being made on them. I’ve seen a few tiktoks where people just say their opinion, but then I would be social or public saying those things, which makes me sick and not want to do it. Just alot of ideas and no feeling of actually doing them.
