I got some ideas for content that I would like to do. But I just don’t know if it would be good content, and if it isn’t stuff that I would watch myself, then I don’t see the reason to make it.
One of them being now that I turn 30 in a few days, then I was thinking of doing daily vlogs for my entire year, so people could follow on what I actually did. But I am also afraid of what people would say to the content. There are friends of mine that tells me I should just do it, but I do also know that they don’t watch the content I make, unless it’s about something they want to watch.
More than that, I haven’t really done much. I have upgraded the laptop, but not really used it. I don’t remember if I wrote about the upgrade I did to the computer.
Then I’ve found out the power supply in my desktop is dying. The fan is running at 100% all the time and vibrating. The CPU fan I have in the desktop has also stopped working. But I don’t have the funds to fix any of those.
That’s currently why I’m on my laptop currently. Just because it’s starting to have issues.
Then also yesterday my VCR player started showing issues. The image is wavy, like looking at the waves in the water, and then there’s a high pitch whine, which I would expect to be the power supply as well.

I forgot to add yesterday in the post. I have gotten an SSL certificate some days ago, because I made a page which users can use to compare costs for their car on a monthly cost, when you calculate everything into it. Like you add the buy price, the years you would own it, and the estimated sales price. Then you can add the yearly insurance cost, the road taxes and such and the page will calculate what the monthly cost would be. This is made because I got tired of having to do all the calculations manually. And because I wanted to check if a cheaper bigger car actually would be more expensive than an more expensive smaller ECO car. The page for it is bilbudget.spody.org
It’s currently only in danish, as I don’t exactly know what the costs are for other countries. I have also sent it to quite a few different people I know in the country, but they haven’t really responded, or feel the same need for it as I do. That’s just how it is. I’m just happy that I made something other people might use.

Hi all.
I’ve not been active once again on this page. Just a bunch of stuff has happened in my life.
Just last week I got some stuff approved for some help. So that means they will contact me before the 28th of August, and inform me about what time and schedule they have regarding all what they can and will help with. Primarily they have told me they can help with cleaning, making food, shopping for daily stuff. But even if I have told them that I don’t really need them, they have kept saying that I can get it and see if it helps my case. So I guessed as much that I might just try it because I don’t really have anything else that I can do, or try.
Then yesterday, I got a new desktop, or rather a NUC (Next Unit of Computing). One of those small machines that don’t use much power. And then today I got a new laptop, or a used one. A, looks almost brand new with no wear or anything, Thinkpad T420. Just needs to get my old laptop SSD and install that one, after I’ve made a backup and saved the files, but it’s a Macbook, so the file system is a little different. And then I also need to get some more RAM for this laptop. It currently only has 4GB, and I’ve seen posts that you can upgrade it to 16GB with the current CPU. Even when the officially supported only is 8GB. But that would be fine. Then at the last thing I would need to get a new battery, because this battery I currently have in it is 110% dead. It isn’t even detected by the OS. I have not been in the BIOS to check, but I’m not even sure if I can see that in the BIOS, with this old BIOS version.
Yesterday when I was picking up my brother, then we went to the store and bought some spicy food for videos, since I do some videos on food and beverages on the Youtube. But I haven’t done anything yet today. Maybe tomorrow I will do something. I also got one drink I need to make a video on.
Keeping on the Youtube stuff, then I’ve been thinking of making videos on my life, and what I do. Kinda like vlogs, but not on a fixed schedule. And just stuff here at home with what I do, and my ideas, which likely wont become to something. And I do kind of want to put these videos on the oldest channel I currently have, where I do have some other subscribers, and people I know are subscribed to. I just cant figure out if I should make the videos in 480p, or 1080p. I’ve asked other people I know what they think and they said that it’s good that I want to start doing something, but they don’t really have any idea on what else I should do and with that.
Like so far I’ve gotten these ideas:
- Talk about my story, where I’ve been for the past few years and that
- Fix my room, like clean it up, put stuff where it’s supposed to be
- Look through the computers and hardware I have to test it and see if it should be listed for sale, or thrown out
- Talk about the tech I use and what quality and stuff you can get from it in regards to capturing video
- Weight-losing journey (would give motivation to keep making videos to see the progress)
So yeah, there’s a little bit that can be done. Then of course I want to keep making videos on the food and beverages, just because I like the type of videos where it’s just chugged or eaten weirdly.
Some days ago I put in a Dell Optiplex 980 DT into the closet to have a PiHole and Plex/Jellyfin server, but my dad has said that it uses alot of power. But when we looked more into it, then you cant even see it on the power usage chart we get daily. To be fair, its not really being used for many things and not many people use it, since for Plex, if I want to share the movies for other users like the people living here, I would need to pay the monthly subscription or get the expensive lifetime license. I do have Jellyfin on the same files and I do prefer the Jellyfin software over the Plex. But I just cant get Jellyfin to work over the network, after the router, like public. It works fine locally. Like on my computers and TV.
Here in my room I’ve gotten an small TV, and I found a DVD Recorder yesterday, but with the TV I need to get the remote for it, because you are not able to swap from the HDMI port to any of the other ports or channels without it. The only buttons on the side of the TV is Power, Channel up and down, volume up and down. There is no other way of doing anything. I did try holding down many buttons. And I did find someone saying that on this version of TV that if the TV gets a signal from a device it will switch to it. So I did get the DVD Recorder to show something, BUT I wasn’t able to do anything because the DVD Recorder came up with a screen to input the time and date, and you couldn’t use it before you had pressed OK. And the remote that was at the recycle center was for a VHS machine, but since it does have some TV buttons, I was able to power off the TV, and change the volume. But the program buttons don’t do anything. So I guess I’ll have to order a remote if I want to try and use this TV and DVD recorder. Both are Philips. I do want to get the TV working as it’s an easier way to see the stuff whenever I’m either playing games or having something running like news. The DVD recorder I like because if it can record to DVD’s then I would be able to record my gameplay videos from older consoles onto that instead of using a capture card. I know that this is a bit weird of saying it, but I do want to show how stuff was originally, like if you watched videos online back in 2005ish for a PS2 game, or something like that then this is the quality you got, because people didn’t have capture cards back then. They recorded to DVD or a camcorder through an input, like composite in on the TV, and then some TV’s had a composite out, where people would connect their cameras to. I remember watching videos by someone called CMNeir on Youtube that did that for some years. He did Halo videos, but since I haven’t seen his videos lately or the past few years, then I’m not sure what he is doing anymore.

It’s been like a day or two since I’ve updated this website to WordPress, and I do want to get an SSL certificate just so I dont have the issue with the warning when visiting for new people. Even when I know barely anyone if anyone visits this page.
I looked at some plugins regarding the Youtube Feed, but I couldnt find anything that had the feature of multiple channels on the same feed. I could find some that had single channels, but that would be a mess. So I dropped it, but then I thought about making a post everytime that I uploaded something for the people that wasnt subscribed, but again, its alot of work.
Got a call about an hour or so ago, for someone asking for a company, I get these alot, because of the phonenumber I have on my landline phone. Its easy to remember like a commercial number. I do also know that it was used for some drug stuff before I got it, since it came up as a “do you know this person” because I had added it to my phone contacts, and the name was some drug king.
Then today I’ve added the vinyls I have on Discogs Collections, just to keep track of it, or more rather so I could check regarding making multiple folders, like I could have one for my dad and I could have one for the vinyls I own. As a way to remember what I got, even when I dont have that many, my dad does have thousands, which I told him I would try to log while he is on vacation the next few weeks.
I’ve been digitizing some tapes over the last month or so, and its really annoying that you look at a tape, see no mold or anything, then when you try to play it is very fussy, and even if you can fix that, then after getting the first hour or two on the computer, the audio just cuts out. So you have been recording for an hour with no audio. I started doing this to make a Jellyfin server for family to see the old tapes since you know, nobody have a tape player anymore, and even if they did, their TV only supports HDMI, and they would need to get an adapter, which I do know people wouldnt get just to play their old tapes. From what I can see aswell regarding Jellyfin, then I’ve heard there was some internal issues, with some developers wanting to use AI, but the founders or leaders couldnt agree, so they all left, and it made the entire project standstill. I have not heard if there is any news on it since I read this a few days ago.
From one of the tapes I got another idea for a video game, but this one would be easier to make, I think. As it would be a singleplayer game, with a more “normal” goal, of going from point A to point B, and doing various tasks to get there. But who knows, if I can actually do something with this for once, instead of starting something only to drop it a few days later.
I cant remember if I said this, but I got my computer somewhat up and running this week. There was some issues last month where it would crash randomly, and when doing troubleshooting it just didnt make sense.
I tried:
- Formatting to Linux
- Running GPU intensive programs (Furmark)
- Removing the graphicscard
- Formatting to an older Windows (7)
And none of these worked. The GPU did look like it had some heat issues, so I thought it could have been that. Like the metal on the port side was all different colors like it has been very warm.
The thing that it was, was the power supply, after replacing that the computer worked fine, but testing the issue was a pain, because it didnt happen that often, like some days it could crash one or two times, and then it could go for a week with no issues. So I kept running Windows 7 while testing this, as it was a pretty stable OS, just some issues with running newer software.
Now I’ve gotten Windows 11 installed, because there was some issues with my capture card on Linux, and I just couldnt get the audio to work on anything I tried, even looking it up online said that the drivers were legacy in 2007, so thats quite old. But now that I’ve gotten Windows 11 installed, then I’m having another issue. My harddrive where my previous Windows install was on, before formatting everything. I had the computer running on a harddrive, but I found an SSD, so I wanted to install on that, while I did the testing and that. But Windows Explorer doesnt want to see what’s on the drive and tells me that I need to format it to see it, but its seeing its in NTFS format. Yet, when I use a program called WinDirStat (to check what files are large on the drive) it finds the drive fine and can see the files. I would like to be able to use the drive, not as a boot drive, if this SSD works, but for storage for projects and that stuff. My computer isnt even supported by Windows 11, so just getting something newer would be nice. Before the issue my computer took about 40 minutes to start up. Which was why it was just left on 24/7. Anyway thats enough of that, I can work with what I got.
For this website I need to remove the “leave a comment” part, since comments have been disabled, and I would love to get the full post down so it only shows part of the post, otherwise the post page gets very long.
I need to save up to get a small server or something to run programs on, like a small Optiplex Micro would be nice to have. I did contact a guy a few weeks ago asking about an Intel NUC he had for sale, but he answered 2 days later saying it was sold, but didnt update the ad, which I just hate when people cant be bothered to update their listings.

I haven’t posted much on the website. That’s part due to me being busy with other stuff. Like I’ve just been working on a lot of projects.
I just today got this page up and running on WordPress, which is both nice and annoying. One thing is that now that its a CMS with a login then I’m more out there in regards to hackers, on the other its nice and easy to make new posts and pages.
The older posts should all be online from when I had the other domain, and previous versions of the site. Sadly I don’t have any blog posts from older websites. Perhaps I could find it on the archive.
Anyway, I have gotten a design and made some things to the page so it feels somewhat like the old one. But it has taken a while to make the posts as they were in different formats and all that.
The categories are just rants and update. Nothing really more, currently.
I’m not really sure what more there is to this page, I can post more with more of the drama that I see online, but that could be a different category. I do need to make a page for my Youtube channels, so it would have all my videos on that. Perhaps I should also make a blog post everytime I upload anything, which now isnt that bad to make, but for how it used to be then yeah, it would be alot of work.
