Okay, so I went to bed very very late yesterday. So that made me wake up too early. I woke up at 8am, while going to bed at 4am. I was in bed for a few hours before actually getting up. Went to take a shower, get ready to go out and shop. Went shopping, and then I got home and slept off. Made the food when I woke up and then I ate, and then talked on the phone for a few hours.
I completely forgot to write the thing for the project I have been working on. So I’ll see if I can get that done today, or tomorrow. I want to add pictures, but I also need to clean abit before I take them. Plus edit them so they’re fast loading and such. A bunch of stuff to make it all very fast.

So the day I thought would come actually arrived. I got fired. But it’s due to an agreement that I have with the boss. I was put on the team for helping out, and if I’m on longer sickleave then I can’t help out, and I would get fired. Simple as that. And now that my doctor has requested me to be off work for 4 weeks or more then I have to go and follow his orders, if I want to be somewhat healthy again. So that’s what I have to do.
On a positive note then my new bank got opened so now I have a proper netbank, as in viewable from a browser, and not with app only. Even tho I need an app to visit the online banking site. This is the 2FA that the government has rolled out, the thing I really dont like, since it’s being forced onto people and not a thing you can choose to have. It’s alright, but being forced to have something is never nice.
Oh yeah that’s right, I should make the project I’ve been talking about to write on whenever I got internet at the new place. I’ll write it either tomorrow or sunday. I need to take pictures, which I guess would be the first pictures on this website. I’m not actually sure how I want to show the images, if I should show them in styling on a page, or if I should make it a link that people can then click on to see. The reason being that then it’s not forced if people dont want to download images and want to view the site on a slower connection. While that is also said then maybe I should spend some of the extra time I now have making the sites and fixing the stuff that I have talked about for a while now. One of them being the project management site that I’ve been looking at making so I can keep track on where I am standing with the different projects, like the one that I’ve finished or that I want to write about this weekend.
Technically it’s saturday right now as I’m writing this, but it’s all what happened on the friday. There’s nothing better to do at 2am, right?
I don’t know how many people are looking at my page, and I don’t realy care. It’s all for me to have a diary, or something so I can remember what I’ve actually done. And a place for me to rant about stuff I feel like writing about.
Now it’s no secret that the idea for me to make this site came from Eric S. Raymonds site.
Having a fast loading website that barely have anything on it, and is viewable from almost browser is nice, and makes it fast for people to load. Even on slow computers, and on the slower connections. I might have gone overboard with what I have on this site, and what I’ve made on it. But it’s what I feel was the easiest to make. And I made it the way that I felt like making it.
Maybe I shouldn’t have gotten an SSL certificate, but oh well, it got one now. I can always just not renew it when that time comes around.

So it’s a doctor time today. Regarding a bunch of stuff that I’ve had to take over a week off from work to do.
I’ve finally gotten the heating working. There was an issue with the boiler in the basement, that the plumber had to come and fix, it wasn’t because I had to air out the radiators.
The carpet it out, or I guess it’s more like a rug or something. And it’s keeping the noise down quite a bit actually. Like The carpet/rug is on the entire floor, except for a few things in the corners. And there’s almost no echo anymore. I got a few paintings that I can put up on the walls, except I need to buy some nails for it.
Switching topics then I’ve made small changes to Spody.org which have been updated on the frontpage.
I need to get myself a project manager. So I can keep track on what sites I have, the ideas, and how long time I spend on said programming. So I can in the end see how much time I spend on a certain thing. But I dont know if I should make it a subdomain for a site or if I should get a new domain and make it so peolpe can make accounts and keep track on their own stuff aswell. Hmm.. I’ll have to think about that. But I think I should get started on making the project manager.
To the people that ask why I dont just get a manager from Github or somewhere else. It’s simply because I dont want to spend the time reading through alot of code to see if there’s anything I dont need or I can skip out on. Plus I dont want someone elses code. Unless I ask for help on projects.

Okay so I got everything uploaded to a database, now it’s just a matter of making a page where I can edit it all and make new posts, but that will be for later, or another day. Aslong as everything on this page is on the database.
Earlier today I went out and got a new carpet for the place, and it’s big. Bigger than I thought it would be. But hard to show now, hopefully I can make it so the new page shows images, or it’s possible to download images from the site. I dont want them to autoload. So it’s just how I would do it best, while also having it fast loading and not be bottlenecked by the database server, or the Apache server that I’m using.

So I went out and bought some new speakers yesterday evening. Some B&O CX50 for just having the radio on. Nothing else. But then there was no cables with them, so I have to go out and get some cables that would fit them. Since they’re using an older version of the DIN connector. They’re not expensive, but I just have to wait for a few days until they arrive. Plus then I need to get a Bluetooth dongle for the amp. so I can play from my phone.
Then today I’ve been sorting alot of my stuff. Almost all my boxes are gone now, and the stuff is inside the apartment. Everything is almost where it should be.
Need some stuff on the walls, and small things. Some small carpets would be nice to have aswell.

Finally there’s internet.
They took 35 minutes switching out a fiberbox. 3 screws on the wall, splice new ends to fiber cables, 3 new holes in the wall, connect everything. You would expect them to be paid hourly and not per customer they get.
Anyway, now I can go and perhaps finish up the stuff on this site that I wanted to do for a while. Plus also get Spody.org fixed up and working again.
That might be tonight. I’m still unpacking. Not much left to unpack.
I have my TV area, which has my B&O MX8000 with the Beolab 6000 speakers connected to it.
A retro area, which have an old desktop PC with Windows XP, yes that’s retro now. That can run all the older software that I have.
My new computer, or newish. It’s a Ryzen 9. So somewhat new.

It’s raining. They say there’s a storm over the country. I could hear it last night, the windows were creaking, with every blow there was. Rain pouring down and hitting the windows.
There isn’t much happening in my life atm. I have plans on making this site better for me when you look at it as a blog, but with no internet at home then it’s kinda difficult getting anything done. I only have internet at work. Nothing from phone. My landline phone is the only communication I have outside of my computer at work. Then I also have free TV, as in the free channels from an antenna I have in my window. I don’t want to pay for channels, so I only have the free ones.
I’ll make a video about it for my channel at one point when I get more up and running from the moving mess.
I should maybe also make written stuff for this site aswell.
Just now I got a recruiter sending me messages about a new position that seems quite interesting for me. But I’m not sure if I should answer it or not. Most of the time they contact you, talk down to you on the phone and then say they will get back to you. Which they then never do. That’s atleast my experience with them.
The site here I want to update so it has a blog feature, where I dont have to write everything manually in code, and then maybe also make it so pages on here can be updated more easy.
Sadly the internet that I ordered will be here on the 25th, nothing before, which is really annoying.
It’s been over 1 month since I ordered the internet for my new place. And they somehow cant deliver to the address with the old box they had installed. So if the previous person that lived there cancelled their internet and subscribed again on the same day they couldn’t get internet, they would have to wait for a technician to come out and replace it. Even if they are cablable of delivering the internet to the address. All of it is stupid. It doesn’t make sense why it should be so difficult to get internet at home.
